Sponsored by Mill City Press, the MCP Author Awards recognizes preeminent new authors who are independently published. Host of the first ever MCP Author Awards, Mill City Press is excited to once again extend the opportunity to authors to have their work recognized and given due credit. The MCP Author Awards exists to honor exceptional books written by authors like you that are published independently by non-traditional publishers. So what are you waiting for?!
What books can I submit?
Full-length books of fiction and non-fiction are eligible. Eligible books must be in English and self-published, or published by a non-traditional or print-on-demand publisher.
What is the required format?
Books must be submitted in paperback or hardcover format and must have an ISBN number. No electronic manuscripts, eBooks, spiral-bound books or notebooks will be accepted.
How many times can I enter?
Author may enter their title into more than one category, but must submit and complete a new entry form and fee and mail in more than one copy for review by the judges.
How does this expand my fanbase?
All winners receive free promotional items for their books. This includes being featured on the contest website with direct links to your bookstore, Amazon or Barnes & Noble pages.
